Understanding Coloniality of Infrastructure from Urban Africa

The final scientific output resulting from an SNF-funded project titled How Infrastructure Shaped Territory has been published under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Kenny Cupers, Chair of the Urban Studies programme at the University of Basel. Initially spanning 2018 to 2022, the project team consisting of Drs Giulia Scotto, Ernest Sewordor, and Thomas Betschart alongside a team of inter-disciplinary scholars have published a collection of essays in a Special Issue in Environment and Planning D that contemplates coloniality of infrastructure from urban African perspectives.
