Photo Essay: Mowbray Taxi Rank

Leandra Maria Choffat | 2019
This photo essay was part of an exercise within the course Sensing the City, at the University of Cape Town from April to May 2019. We had to portray a space in the city, photographing what is not usually associated with it in a common narrative. I decided to portray the people using the taxi rank in Mowbray, which is usually perceived as a space made out of concrete, noise, buses and taxis.
