This research about waste in Mozambique tries to find out what is happening with local and global waste in an Eco-touristic region. As there are a lot of international volunteers, tourists from all over the world and local weekend visitors coming to Tofo to swim, scuba dive, enjoy the beach and party, a lot of waste accumulates. What happens with all of this waste? Who participates and is concerned? What strategies are already in place? These are some of the questions I am currently trying to answer.
